Spider Webs are not just for Halloween - at least not these spider webs.
Stampin'UP!'s Spider Web Doilies are black on one side and white on the other.
You've probably seen them on Halloween cards like these all over Pinterest and Splitcoast
But look what you can do when you flip over to the white side!
That spider web has suddenly become a pretty snowflake!
Not a bad design if you're looking to mass produce a card. The only potential deterrent is the adhesive for the doilies. Helpful Hint: for the adhesive on the Spider Web Doily, use tiny (teeny tiny!) amounts of glue on each point and in the center. Use too much and it will smear, looks bad and messy (said from the voice of experience). Tiny, tiny tiny amounts of glue. got it?
Project Details:
- The white circle is 2" diameter sitting on a Scallop Circle of Silver Glimmer Paper.
- Sentiment is from Flurry of Wishes, Heat embossed in silver
- Soft Sky background is embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder
