Big Shot Owl

Here is a cute idea for a little Valentine Candy Treat Bag. No frilly colors here so its perfect for that special guy. And is so easy to make! The owl's head was made with the Top Note Die and the "throat" was made with the Large Scallop Circle Die. The eyes are three circle punches: white, bashful blue and white.

The center of the eye was made using the Heart to Heart punch. And, surprise, so was the beak! Look at the image of the punch below. You can see that the eyes are the small heart. The beak was made by punching the largest heart and then cutting off the top scallops. I love getting double duty from my tools.

The bags are also sold by Stampin'UP!. These are the small Cellophane Bags which sell for $3.95 for a package of 50.  And with how easy this project goes together it wouldn't take much time to actually make that many.
