Easy Easel Card

Lets talk about jazzing up a card. We have lots of product available: sparkly ribbon, glitter, embossing powders, punches, dies you name it.  But another way to jazzup a project is to add an extra unexpected fold or two. Lets see how simple it is to re-make this card as an Easel Card.

  • This is a top-folding vertical card. You start with a piece 11" x 4-1/4" and score at 5-1/2".
  • To make the easel add one more score line at 2-3/4" and adhere the focal piece to the bottom section only.

You need something raised up on the inside to support the Easel Function.
I simply moved the sentiment to the inside.

You now have a card that will stand up to display your beautiful creation.

Speaking of beautiful creations . . . the dies in the Quiet Meadow set are truly beautiful with a huge variety of different flower and leaf shapes.  They really offer a lot of options for layering and making gorgeous floral die collages - like on this easel card.
