Sometimes you want a wow card with everything on it. Embossing, die cut layers, gold and sparkle and high contrast. And part of the elegance of this card is due to the layering Pansy Dies.
You can make a simple card layout like this really eye-catching by including some high-contrast color combinations:
* the bright Polished Pink and black combination
* the bright Grannyapple Green/Garden Green combo on the leaves
You can give the card an elegant look with gold cording, black rhinestones and an ornate floral embossed background. The vanilla on white color combo also has a more formal look. And what about that stitched scalloped rectangle for the sentiment? full product list below
The Pansy Dies themselves also add to the elegance.
Can you see the embossing on the petals and leaves? The dies do that. So cool!.
A few other details to note:
- You can color the Stampin'Up! Rhinestones with a black Sharpie - or with the Stampin'Up! Blends (alcohol markers). I used our black Stampin' Blends.
- You can give the flower center some extra shine and sparkle with the Shimmery Crystal Effects.
I hope you've been inspired to go play. If you're interested in any of the product used on this card you'll find a full product list for this project at the end of this post.
