Stampin'UP!'s Best of Snow: The Hedgehogs. Valentine?

Winter Card or Valentine made with the Hedgehogs from Stampin'UP!'s Best of Snow
I'm having so much fun playing with this "Best of . . ." Set: Best of Snow. Part of  Stampin'UP!'s celebration of their 25th anniversary is the creation of 12 collections of past favorite stamps. These Hedgehogs were certainly a favorite in their day.

The heart was my addition - its not part of the Hedgehog stamp. I was trying to figure out what they were saying and they just looked so happy with each other that a Valentine came to mind. I'm actually thinking of using this for Valentines Day. Here in Wisconsin we definitely have snow on the ground in February.

This card was really easy to put together, assuming you have a Big Shot or similar machine. I thought the lacy bottom edge on this card was perfect for snow, and at the same time it also felt like a doily for a Valentine. The lacy bottom edge was made with an the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder.  Actually you get 2 folders in the package - yay!  And yes, I did make it a little more complicated than I needed to by punching the Dotted Scallop Ribbon piece. Maybe a pink strip of paper would have looked just fine, but this is my favorite punch and it looks like a doily anyway, so, perfect for a Valentine, right?

Does this card look familiar?  I posted a very similar one a few days ago. I like to challenge myself to create 1 design and then see how many different cards I can make with the same basic lay-out.  This card used these cute little Hedgehogs and image on the other card was snowflakes. But its the same basic card, right?
