Take your projects from plain to WOW by adding a little dimension. Paper projects such as cards tend to be 2-dimensioal and flat. You can add a "wow" factor by doing something that gives a little dimension, a little 3D effect. Something that influences the way light reflects off the card. This card showcases 4 different ways you can add dimension.
- The first way to add dimension is very simple, use layers! The card base is Very Vanilla, but the bottom is covered with a light brown layer (Stampin'UP! color = Crumb Cake).
*The sentiment is layered with punched pieces using the Word Window Punch and the Modern Label Punch.
*The flower focal point consists of layers made using the Decorative Label Punch, the Scallop circle Punch and leaves from the Bird Builder Punch.
- The second way to add dimension is to distress the paper
- The third way to add dimension is to add an element that has texture
- The fourth way to add dimension is to use Dimensionals!
These are little foam adhesive pieces that are sticky on both sides. You use them to physically raise up a part of the project.
