Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift Bag

This is a really pretty gift package for giving small items.

These are Stampin'UP!'s Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift Bags. The bags are a translucent "glassine" material with a very subtle and pretty white sketched dot pattern.  Its very classy looking, especially with the sparkly glimmer paper butterfly and the shiny sequin trim.

And SO SIMPLE to put together. 

• I folded the top down,
  wrapped black satin ribbon around the top and secured it with a glue dot.  
• punched the butterfly and decorated it with a pearl
• attached it to a punched scallop circle
• adhered the sequin ribbon to the back
• and stuck it on the front of the bag

Gift Box with a Belly Band

This is a beautiful hand made gift box with belly band, made by my friend Sue Adams.  

Sue used Stampin'UP!'s Box Punch Board to make the box itself.  

What a great tool - you can make lots of different size boxes 

and the tool event notches the corners so the box stays closed.

A belly band is a great way to take a plain project and really dress it up. 

Sue's Belly Band is gorgeous!

Wow, this was an over-the-top effort with lots of different punches: 

the Balloon Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Bow Builder Punch and Banner Punch.

All beautifully accented with some gold cord.

Sue's box was for a birthday. Everyone loves a little gift.

Easy Post-a-note Holder

Are you looking for a quick easy gift. How about a post-a-note holder? Its not big and fancy, but could be just right when you need a little something to say "thanks" or "thinking of you".

One of these could look very pretty sitting on a desk for those random thoughts you need to jot down or to mark a page in a book.

And they're super easy to make! Find some pretty designer paper and coordinating ribbon and an old coaster.

Just make sure you have the right adhesive. I used a glue-stick to adhere the Designer Paper to one side of a coaster. If you don't have an old coaster any piece of chip board would work. I used Tombow adhesive on the metal bulldog clip.

Slip a 3x3 Post-a-note pad under the big bulldog clip and its ready to give.
