Triangle Kiss Container Makes a Cute Wedding Favor

How cute would this look sitting by each guest's place at the table? What big event do you have coming up?  Wedding? Bridal Shower?  These are so easy to make, no trouble at all for a big event.

Triangle Kiss Favor made with dies from Stampin'UP!'s Well Written and Be Mine die sets

The actual construction of the favor is very quick and simple to make.

After construction you'll need to decorate one panel that measures 3" by 1.25".

I added some pizzazz by die cutting the word from black foil paper and layering it on a strip of glimmer paper.  Foil paper and glimmer paper are 2 easy ways to get your projects noticed.  Product links are at the end of the post.

The reason for the 3" length is because each Hershey's Kiss is a little less than 1" diameter
and this favor holds 3 Kisses.

You can see from the pictures how easy it is to make these candy kiss treats. Think beyond weddings These could even be decorated for a Baby Shower or anniversary party. This triangle kiss holder would work for any time you want to show your guests a little "love". Or heck, just drop one of these favors off on a co-worker's desk.
I hope I've inspired you to try this "sweet" project. I'm happy to answer questions about this or any other project you're working on. And if you need any product check the links below.

Sentiment Included in the Balloon Strings

We have so many reasons to send a little love to someone. Can you see the love on this card?  This card features a fun little technique of using the balloon string as the word for the sentiment.

Card made with Stampin'UP!'s Hello Life stamp set and Heart Shaped Balloons

I originally made this as a valentine, but then decided to use it as an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law instead. The balloons seemed more suited for celebrating a life event instead of Valentine's Day. How would you use it? . . . Anniversary? Wedding?  Bridal Shower?

Its super easy to make, just punch 3 hearts (pretty glimmery paper helps of course). Add the strings and a little bow and voila!

Stampin'UP!'s Hello Life stamp set so . . . what about the balloon string sentiment?

You can draw your own lines for the balloons, and add your own handwritten word as part of the balloon string.

My balloon strings and sentiment are stamped, and I got this pretty sentiment from Stampin'UP!'s Hello Life stamp set.  All the supplies I used for this card are listed below.

Try this on your next card.  Handwritten or stamped, either way it makes a really cute card when you include a sentiment in a balloon string.

Easy Triangle Candy Treat Holder Great Gift or Shower Favor

Check out these easy directions for a cute little candy treat holder.
Here's what you'll be making, just big enough for a Kiss or Rolo or Nuggat.

Start with a sheet of paper 5.5" by 4"
Score as shown in the photo below

Fold along all the score lines and cut off the outside section of the 1/4" wide strip
as shown in the 2nd image below.
Find the mid-point of each section (it should be at 7/8" from the edge and from each score line)
Cut away a triangle from the mid-point diagonally to the score line and discard the parts colored in pencil in this image.

See how easily it folds together to make a cute little box!

Now you just have to find something (small) to decorate your box.

These tiny little triangle boxes would be quick and easy to make for your co-workers. They make a fabulous table favor for a wedding or shower. And with Valentines Day just a few weeks away they'd also make a really cute little Valentine treat for everyone on your list.
