Interactive Card - Partial Die Cut Makes a Door

Here's a fun card design where you include an extra message behind a door. The people I send cards to like getting something slightly out of the ordinary.

The trick to creating the "door" is to lay your diecut on the paper but place the edge of the cutting plate where you want the cut to stop. The result is a partial die cut that functions like a door.

You can cut your door from regular cardstock or designer paper.  In the photo above you'll notice I used designer paper - and in the photo below you'll see that you can also stamp and color right on the designer paper.

Actually this stamp set was so pretty and the card was so full of flowers that I felt the inside needed decoration too.
