 Background stamps can add a visual richness and depth to a project.
This card uses Stampin'UP!'s Breathtaking Bouquet
. . . heat embossed in white on a Pretty Peacock (color) background

Birthday Card made with Stampin'UP!'s Breathtaking Bouquet and Happy Birthday to You stamp sets. Heat embossed Sentiment on Vellum. with Frosted Epoxy Droplets flower centers.

The background stamp adds visual depth
There is also real depth with the birthday cake
stamped - colored - cut-out and raised using dimensionals

Dimensionals - Yay!
Those little double-sticky foam dots can really enhance a project.
And on this project a Yay for the Frosted Epoxy Droplets
used on the centers of the flowers on the cake.

A few other details to note:
  1. The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Vellum Cardstock
    to make the sentiment stand out I put a black strip behind it
  2. The background was heat embossed in white
    The high contrast on this card really captures the attention.
