Copper Embossed Copper Foil, Its Meant to Be

#EasyWowTechnique

Here's an easy technique with a real "wow" look . . . tone on tone embossing on foil paper.  For this card it was a strip of copper foil embossed with copper embossing powder. I love it when I give people a card and I see them take a 2nd look as they try to figure out how something was done. That's what happens with this technique.

There is a rich, elegant feel to tone-on-tone embossing on foil paper.

The detailed heart filigree stamp is from a new set called Meant to Be.
If you're looking for a good heart set then check out the "Meant to Be" stamp set..
Its in the 2019 Occasions catalog and will be available in January
(purchasing info at the bottom of the post). Let me know if you need a copy of the catalog.

Rhinestones colored with StampinUp's Calypso Coral Stampin Blend matches Copper Foil Paper.

Did you notice the color of the rhinestones matches the copper foil?
Stampin'UP's! alcohol markers (Stampin Blends) are perfect for coloring rhinestones,
and Calypso Coral is a suitable match for the copper.
I used the Dark Calypso Coral marker on these rhinestones.

I am loving the imagery in the Meant to Be stamp set.  There is a nice variety of shapes and sizes to the hearts and I really like the sentiments as well as the fonts used on them.

The sentiments work for weddings and anniversaries
as well as Valentine's day.

I'll have lots more samples to show with the Meant to Be stamp set so stop back again soon.

Tone on tone heat embossing on metal foil paper is really easy and definitely gets a wow response. I hope I've inspired you to try this easy technique. I'm happy to answer questions about this or any other project. My email is in the header at the top of the page.
