StampLadyKatie.com: Happy Easter with Word and Letter Dies

It might be a little early for Easter, but I was playing with my word and letter thinlets and inspiration struck for this card. I really like this combination of the script writing and the block letters.

Easter Card made with Stampin'UP! Little Letters and Hello You Thinlet Dies

All of the lettering was cut with dies: "Happy" was made using the Hello You Thinlet Dies, this is a set of 4 word thinlet dies that also includes "thanks", "you" and "hello". The block letters for the word Easter were made with the Little Letters Thinlet Dies.

This card makes me smile and think of spring. Part of that "hoppy" feeling is the placement of the letters and part of it is the fresh color combination. The base is Elegant Eggplant which is a very dark purple. But the rest of the lettering is pastel colors: Wisteria Wonder, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight (can't wait for the Daffodils in my yard and real spring) and Soft Sky. If you're like me a little spring in your heart can put a little spring in your step and make you feel downright hip hop happy.
