Here's another card using the cute Happy Whale die and the Oh Whale Stamp set. These two products are designed to work together. The whale die is actually see-through so you can line up a stamped image perfectly. You can see what I mean in this post
However . . . This card is one I was doing for a demonstrator event and I confess that I got a bit lazy. Instead of stamping all the whales I just die cut them. But they look cute this way, right?

Here's a few more stamping tips
First a paper saving trick: I punched the blue layer for the sentiment from the background piece that frames the card.
Its a small thing when you are making just one card, but it can really make a difference in how much paper you use when you are mass producing.

By the way, if you are taping ribbon to the front of a project be sure to apply the tape to the ribbon. Its easier to line it up on the project.
Third: partial embossing.
For the clouds I embossed only the top part of the paper (right? cuz the clouds are UP in the sky). That left the bottom part smooth for the sentiment.
Its one of those little tricks that we often forget about, you don't have to stick the whole piece of paper in the embossing folder.
What other interesting designs can you make with your embossing folders by positioning the paper to be only partially embossed?
