Bootiful Winter Card

Happy New Year everyone.  I hope you had a had the opportunity to spend some quality time with family and friends and that you are refreshed and ready for a new year.

The lack of posts this last week is because I took a break myself to enjoy the holiday and time with my family. And we had 15" of fresh snow to enjoy to boot!
Sledding
Skiing
and making Snow Angels
Not to worry, my 2 1/2 month old grand daughter was only there for the photo opp.
Can you see the halo in the snow along with the angel wings?

Card made with Stampin'UP! stamp set: Bootiful.

This card with the warm winter boot seemed just the right post for today. The boot is with a Stampin'UP! stamp set called Bootiful

What sentiment would you put on this? Its a pretty simple card - especially since there is only 2 colors.
**1 layer of brown (Soft Suede) embossed
The embossing isn't necessary but I think it kind of
dresses up the card.  It echos the warm fuzzy feel
of the fur at the top of the boot.
**1 white oval for the center
**the boot is stamped, heat embossed in black,
   colored with a marker
and cut with scissors and popped up for effect.
**Vanilla Seam Binding Bow
Check this video on how to make a Fork Bow
**2 tiny pearls for bling

By the way, there will be a new newsletter format for 2013. The first one comes out this week. Sign up HERE if you aren't already on the list.

Happy Stamping
