The Goose that Laid the Golden Egg

This card was really fun to make. I had this idea when the new Small Oval Punch (#120908) came out to use it for an egg. Then when the beautiful stamp set Cherish Friendship, showed up in the new catalog I knew I had to make this card.
The card base is Ivory Naturals. It just seemed like Whisper White was too crisp, this card needed something more earthy.
The egg was punched from the Metallics Gold paper. The metallic papers are shimmery and really catch the light. Perfect for  the golden egg.
The Goose was stamped on Whisper White, colored with markers and then cut out and popped up using Dimensionals. Note that the feet were stamped on the card base, only the body was cut out.
The Sentiment is from a stamp set called Oval All. The letters "Y" and "U" are also colored  the same color as the goose's bill and feet, just for color balance on the card. The Oval All stamp set was designed to fit with our punches so its a perfect match for the Scallop Oval Punch (#119856). The sentiment itself was created on white card stock and popped up using Dimensionals. The bottom layer for the sentiment was the Gold Metallic Paper which was not popped up.
The Bean Stalk is punched out of Garden Green card stock using the 2-Step Bird Punch. Its easy to create the tall beanstalk by punching many of the branches and gluing together. Just be sure to trim them a bit so they look slightly different.
The grassy patch is a piece of Certainly Celery that had the top edge torn to suggest the uneven look of grass.

So easy to make and a great kids card. Ingredients are listed below.
