Punch Art Purses

Here's a cute punch art card I made for my daughter. The purse shape is made with the Round Tab Punch, cut in half. The flap of the purse is the Small Oval Punch, cut in half. To make the handle of the bag I centered the Large Oval punch over the hole left by the Small Oval punch. It created an oval ring. Cut this ring in half to make the handle. A silver brad finishes off each purse. I used Designer Series Paper for the purses but you could use any paper. This could look so cute with any color combination.

The sentiment is from a stamp set called On Your Birthday which fit perfectly in the Large Oval Punch and is layered on a piece punched with the Scallop Oval Punch. The ribbon is the White Satin Ribbon, which actually holds very well with just a single knot. Just pull it tight.

I hope this inspires your creativity. Its a great way to use up some small scraps too.

If you don't have these punches yet then why not put together a Sale-a-bration order. Every $50 order during Sale-a-bration earns you a selected FREE item. You can check out the catalog online and order 24/7 from my Stampin'UP! website. Or call (608-220-3450) or email me with any questions or to place an order.

Happy Stamping
