That doily even looks spooky when you cut it in half!

Spooky Sheltering Tree Halloween Card

Did you ever get that feeling that something was watching you?
Here's a Spooky Halloween card made with the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set.

Halloween card made with Stampin'UP!'s Sheltering Tree Stamp Set

Sorry its a bad photo - it was taken through the lid of a plastic box.
Hmm? Maybe that makes it even spookier??

FOR THE EYES: If you want to make this you can get the eyes at any craft store. HELPFUL HINT:  put dabs of liquid glue on the tree and set the eyes on the glue. I did this for a class and we found the Tombow Glue was the best adhesive for the eyes.

The "BOO!" is diecut from Black Glimmer Paper using a die from the Boo to You Framelits set. Any large tree stamp with bare branches could give this effect, but I gotta say that the Sheltering Tree Stamp set is really versatile. The sentiments and accessories are designed to go with any season. Here's another card I posted using that set.

And if you've been eyeing this set (pun intended hee hee) then now is a great time to buy because right now Stampin'UP! has a 15% off sale on stamps.

But you better hurry . . . . The sale ends Friday the 23rd.
