Time for another color combo Blog Hop. Color challenges are a great way to stretch yourself. Instead of fitting the color to the image you have to think in reverse and fit the image to the colors.
The colors this month were Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand
seemed like a perfect compliment for the Seaside Notions stamp set.
This card is a perfect sample to show
why I buy ALL my color product from a single company.
Its really hard to get your inks and papers to match
when you buy them from multiple sources.

When you heard this month's colors what image popped up first for you?
That combination of blue and purples had me visualizing deep sea images.
I think the thing that really makes this card
is the Seabed Embossing Folder with the sponged colors.
Check out the close up below to see the fun images in this folder.
A few well placed rhinestones finishes the card
even better when they are color matched,
because of course, we can color the rhinestones
with the Stampin Blends (alcohol based markers).
There's a full list of products used on this card at the end of the post.
Be sure to do the full circle in the hop to see lots of other ideas for using this combination of colors. Seaside Notions was my choice but each demo in the hop will have another great sample for you. Next up is Tricia Butts
