A Jar of Flowers for the June Color Combo Blog Hop

Today's share is part of a Color Combo Blog hop. Our combination this month is
Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam.

This combination of beautiful soft colors reminded me of spring flowers - like the daffodil posy in the new Jar of Flowers Stamp set from Stampin'Up!

Stampin'Up!'s Jar of Flowers Stamp Set
The stamp set is part of a bundle and there are several reasons to love this bundle.
  1. First it has a matching punch. And yes, a jar is easy to cut with a scissors so you might be asking why get the punch.  The answer is because there are also coordinating plastic domes that fit the shape so you can make shaker cards.
  2. I like that there are two sizes of the jar
  3. AND - the jar stamps are REVERSIBLE so you can stamp water in the vase. How cool is that?
  4. And you get 4 different flower sprays to choose from
  5. Plus, its a bundle - which means you save 10% when you buy the stamp set and punch together.

Look at all the variation in colors of the flowers.

I used Stampin'Up!'s alcohol markers to color them. These markers come in a set of 2 - a light and a dark for each color. This is what allowed me to get so much color variation in this flower spray.
The speckles you see in the photo are the light reflecting off of the glitter from the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

The other thing you can do with these Blends is to color the rhinestones. Look how pretty these pink rhinestones are against the black background of the label.
