Gathered Leaves Embossing Dies

Our theme for the month is distressing - not emotionally LOL.
We're talking inking techniques for distressing a project

Fall Cards made with Stampin'UP!'s Gathered Leaves Dies and distressed by inking the embossing die

This card was sponged 2 ways: (1) the edges of the card,
and (2) the surface of the embossed leaf.

The Gathered Leaves die set embosses as well as cuts the shape.

If you sponge lightly over the raised areas you get this cool effect.

Do you have any embossing dies?  Give this technique a try. . . . Leave a comment, I'm happy to answer any questions.  Thanks for stopping by and have an INKcredible day.
