Today's card features one of this year's Sale-a-bration Stamp Sets. 

This Bicycle Built for Two card was made by my friend Rachel Durtschi. 

Rachel used markers to color the image, and she did an amazing job. 

Rachel has several very subtle details on this card that takes this card from average to super gorgeous.   

First: Look at the basket - don't you  just have to say WOW! Its so realistic with the various shades of brown.

Second: notice the shadow under the bike. This is a technique called "grounding" that adds a level of realism to the card. so the image doesn't look like its just floating in space.

This is actually a really well designed card.  The white circles in the center of the flowers are the perfect accent for the polkadots in the designer paper.

Rachel used the Pedal Pusher Stamp Set. This set is so cool. You don't see too many sets featuring bicycles much less a bicycle built for two! And the sentiments are perfect for this image.
