Today I'm sharing a card made by my friend Sue Adams. I'm so lucky to be part of a demo group that does regular trades. I love trading . . . its so much fun to see other people's projects.
Sue made this card on Night of Navy cardstock. Sue used the sentiment from the Jolly Christmas Stamp set and what with the cardstock being so dark she decided to silver emboss the words. She also added a rhinestone to each of the snowflakes. Wow! it really shines, its so pretty.
To frame the sentiment, Sue used the Boughs and Berries embossing folder. But again, with the dark cardstock she felt like the texture was too subtle. So - brilliant idea - she sponged with White Craft ink. Again WOW! Now it looks like its covered in snow.
If you're local to the Madison/Dane County area join me for a class making Christmas Cards. Check out my Events Calendar. We're doing Christmas cards this weekend and again in November.
Thanks for Stopping by: If you see anything you like I'm happy to
help you get the product or just to consult and explain further how the
project was made. Really, its all about having fun with our
hobby.
