Build a Bouquet Embossed Flower

I got this card from Mary Goonan

This card is a perfect example of how a simple design can be stunning. Of course its helped by the very pretty flower stamp and the gorgeous font used on the sentiment. Both the flower and the sentiment are from a set called Build a Bouquet. The stamps in this set are intended for use with the Build a Bouquet Project Kit, but I think they look beautiful used by themselves.

Mary decorated the card with a strip of Designer Paper printed with leaves. Isn't this pattern perfect for this card?  A pretty strip of leaves running up the side of the card.  The pattern Mary chose is from the Painted Blooms Paper Pack.  I love how these papers come printed on both sides. it gives you so many different designs to choose from.  And with 2 pages of each design in the package, you get lots of the pattern to play with too.

FYI: This project uses a couple of "soon to retire" products. The Painted Blooms Designer Paper used on this project and the Build a Bouquet stamp set are both from the Occasions catalog which expires the end of this month. Since we're in the last month of the catalog, this paper is now "available only while supplies last".

In fact, both the Annual Catalog and the Occasions catalog are expiring the end of May. We know there's going to be some amazing, wonderful new stuff coming - but we also want to make sure we have everything from the retiring catalog before its gone for good.  Have you see the catalogs?

Stamps are guaranteed to be available through May 26th.

Everything else is available only while supplies last

In my experience I suggest checking the list sooner rather than later
and if there's something there you want, I'd get it now before its gone
and the good news is - more than half the stuff is also on sale
anywhere from 15% up to 50%
