The right tools for this card?

The Big Shot and The Stamp-a-ma Jig.

The texture embossing on this card adds an extra special touch and helps to break up a large expanse of white space. And the honeycomb embossing folder is just the right shape for a flower card.

Stampin'UP! carries 2 different embossing machines.  The Big Shot does both embossing and die cutting.  The Texture Boutique is just for embossing.  If you're ready to invest in an embossing machine think carefully about the option for die cutting. 

 

The Stamp-a-ma Jig is a stamp positioner. The images on this card are from a set called Petal Potpourri, which is a 2-step stamp set.  That means there are 2 stamps that are intended to be stamped overlapping. Are you impressed with the flower images and how well the images line up? The Stamp-a-ma-jig ensures perfect positoning.

Of course, in addition to the right tools you want the some cool embellishments too, right?  Every card looks better with a little bling. To finish off this one I added a string of rhinestones to underscore the sentiment and a few drops of Dazzling Details glitter glue in the center of the flowers.
