Here's a sweet little yellow rubber ducky to welcome a sweet little baby.
Colors: Boy or Girl? Yellow is a gender neutral color and while blue might be traditionally for boys it fits with the water theme of a rubber duck. And hey, any soft color is appropriate for a baby card, right?
The rubber duck/water theme is reinforced by the textured big polkadots (which reminded me of bubbles) - and by the punched scallop edge (which reminded me of waves).
The rubber duck and sentiment are from a stamp set called: One Tag Fits All, from the new 2015 Occasions Catalog. One Tag Fits All is available in either clear mount or wood mount
Can you see the shading on the duck? I colored it with Blendabilities. Honestly I never paid attention to all the talk of the wonders of alcohol markers until Stampin'UP! introduced the Blendabilities line. Can you say A-MAZE-ING! I am loving how well these markers color.
