New Flip Flop Thinlit Dies

Have you ever made a Flip Flop Card? It involves a lot of measuring, scoring and partial cutting. But not any more.  Stampin'UP! has just released 2 sets of Flip Flop Thinlit dies

And they come with so many extras for adding cute embellishments to the cards.  Here's one card I did for a recent demo trade. Yeah, I know - its September and not even close to Father's Day - but the trade theme was "masculine cards" and this is what I made.

I couldn't believe how easy it was. You just roll the paper through the Big Shot with the die and voila. It's cut and scored in all the right places. All you have to do is fold and stamp. This is a card you could easily mass produce (are you thinking Holiday Cards!?)

The dies come with so many extra embellishments.  I used 3 of them on this card. The white label on the front with the greeting, the 2 arrows . . . and when you flip the card open, there's the I {heart} You script.

The background stamps on this card are from a set called Gorgeous Grunge. It seemed to work well for a male card.

The sentiment is from a set called Delightful Dozen. This sentiment was the perfect size to fit the frame on the front.

These dies are a real time saver if you like making WOW cards like the Flip Flop Cards. Its just so easy to roll it through the Big Shot once rather than do all that measuring, cutting and scoring.
