Hexagon Punch and Designer Papers

This quick and easy card was made with Designer Print Papers and Stampin'UP!'s new Hexagon Punch. Its a great way to use up small scraps of papers. And the hexagon punch makes an interesting design pattern.

The lay-out of this card is perfect for highlighting a sentiment. Doesn't it almost seem like the line of 3 brads is "underlining" the sentiment?  This sentiment is from a set called Sassy Salutations. The set has 4 large size sentiments in a festive looking font. 

This is a very versatile card design. Depending on which Designer Print papers you choose you can make this card masculine, feminine or turn it into a card for a child.

July is also the month for Stampin'UP!'s annual convention.  I am so excited to be with thousands of other demonstrators sharing ideas and learning new ways to use our products. Here's one more project using Designer Papers: These little punch art elfs were my "pillow gift" for my room mates today - a candy container of course.  Wouldn't he be cute on a holiday table decoration.  Just a hint of things to come at the September Christmas Card Blitz.  More info coming on that event but local stampers should check your calendars for Sept 21st.
