Flower Vases come in such a variety of shapes and sizes, so its easy to create a vase from a punched shape.
The Blossom Petal Builder Punch is retiring the end of this month - so before its gone I wanted to try using one of the petals for a vase.
To turn a punched piece into a vase all you need is a flat edge for the bottom. I just couldn't decide which way to turn the petal. I tried it both ways as you can see below.
This is the final project and here are the details:
- The flower is from the Boho Blossom Punch
- The leaves are from the Bird Builder Punch
- The background was embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder
- The center of the flowers has a tiny self-stick pearl
- The "vase" was sponged with Bashful Blue ink and decorated with a Linen Thread bow.
Just a quick word about these colors: All 3 of these pastels: Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery are being phased out. Stampin'UP! is doing a color refresh and these are some of the colors we're losing.
