This is the final post about my paper scraps. Did you catch the first post? Weird where our inspiration comes from, in this case it was from my scrap pile.
- The first post showed 2 simple lay-outs for using the scraps
- The second post showed how to use markers to vary the color on the stamps
- This post shows how to jazz it up a little with added texture.
The top card has that scrap paper strip. But for the 2nd card its jazzed up a little with some added texture.
The strip was wide enough to fit in my Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. I love the sweet polka-dot effect you get with it and the tiny scallops along each edge.
The extra texture on this card is from the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder. This product is a set of 2 narrow folders to emboss card edges.
And they coordinate with the Large Scallop Edgelits Die.
Have you seen the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punched used to make Framing Layers?
