This baptism card was made using one of the images from a stamp set called Crosses of Hope. This stamp set has 3 beautiful crosses and the sentiment you see on this card. Don't you think these images are amazing? There is such beautiful detail on each one.
The Silver Glimmer paper used on this card is from a package I got for free. This year is Stampin'UP!'s 25th Anniversary - (the Silver Anniversary). So during Sale-a-bration each $150 order gets a FREE package of Silver Glimmer Paper. And Hostesses who collect orders totaling $150 also get the FREE Silver Glimmer Paper.
The cross was highlighted using a technique called emboss resist. The cross was stamped in White Craft ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then the Pirouette Pink ink was sponged over the top.
A baptism represents great hope for the life of the child and these Crosses of Hope were the perfect image for my granddaughter's event.
And of course, proud Grandma gets to show off the baby!
Thanks for stopping by
Happy Stamping
