Sold Out Already!?!? Don't miss the Extravaganza

Its pretty clear that stampers love texture!  Stampin'UP! had tried a product trial of a small, portable embossing machine and in less than 3 days they sold out of the 4000 allotted to the trial. Our product trial was obviously a huge success!

Here are some visuals on the difference that texture embossing can make.  The top card is one I'd call a "wow" card.  There are lots of steps to making it and lots of details.  The bottom card is a simplified version of it that we did at some of my events this month.

Here in Wisconsin pumpkins are a common garden crop as well as a fall decoration so they are very appropriate for a November event.

In a group setting I wanted something that had less steps, so we did 1 pumpkin instead of 2 and did not add the thread or the button  or the tiny tags.

And for the lines on the pumpkin we used a stamp set called Everything Eleanor.

One of the things that does add to the "wow" factor on that top card is the texture embossing, done here with the Elegant Lines embossing folder.

The Big ShotATTENTION!! - You can still get a deal on an embossing machine. The small embossing machine may be gone, but now, for one-day only, the Big Shot is on sale.  The small machine was only for embossing.  The Big Shot not only embosses, it also die cuts.  And the Big Shot can take any folder or any die on the market.  No matter who makes them, they all fit in the Big Shot. Normally $99.95, the machine is now on sale for only $79.95.
