Santa's Notes - altered DVD Case

Altered DVD case to look like Santa's Jacket.
How do you organize things in your purse?  Well, I confess mine's a little messy.  So I altered this DVD case to keep in my purse while doing all my holiday shopping. And since its for the holidays and my notes about ideas for gifts . . . well, Santa seemed appropriate.

You will not believe how easy this was.  Its just a piece of red paper (7 x 10 1/2"). The case is 7" tall so thats the first dimension.  The spine is 1/2" and the width of the case is 5" - so 10 1/2" is the other dimension.

I used a scallop border punch on a 2" white strip of paper for the "fur". The belt is a 1" strip of black paper laid over the white.  The buckle is a 1 1/4" square of Silver Glimmer Paper with a 1" square of black on top. The buttons are 3/4" circles.

The scroll is a "shape" in Microsoft Word to which I added some text and then cut out by hand.  Once the scroll was printed and cut the whole thing went together in minutes.

I made a bunch of these as gifts: I gave one of these to each of my downline as presents at our meeting this weekend.  Do you like?  Would you like? I might have one for YOU! (sorry US only). I have 5 left so between now and Christmas, the next 5 people who buy the Starter Kit from me will get one of these.

They are actually functional too.  They're deep enough to hold a pen or pencil. I mounted a small pad of paper in there and there's still room for other handwritten notes or coupons.

To get yours just go to my website and buy the Starter Kit. Not only will you get this cute Santa box, but you'll also get access to my private website full of helpful ideas for starting a Stamping Business of your own.  And if you are just buying the kit for the discount, or because you get $125 worth of product for only $99 that's OK.  You'll still get access to the private website and you'll love all the project photos you'll see there.

I know that $99 is an investment - but its also a great deal on product.  If you have questions please call - 608-220-3450.  After you buy your Starter Kit you'll get this in the mail from me (maybe even before your Starter Kit arrives). Oh, and there's no shipping on the Starter Kit - it really is $125 worth of product for only $99.

And speaking of gifts - did you hear about Stampin'UP!'s Holiday Gift to you?  Read about how you can get a free set of paper piercing templates as Stampin'UP!'s Holiday Gift to you.
