Are you ready for a Sneak Peak? This card is made with a stamp set called Bright Blossoms. It will be in the next catalog, but Stampin'UP! is releasing it early - Whoo Hoo! Demonstrators can already get this set and we're all busy making samples to show. I made this card as a Demo Trade for a meeting last night.
Customers can get this set early too! Starting April 1st (no "fooling"!) this set will be available to all customers. Be sure to check this blog on Sunday to get all the details about this offer.
The Sentiment on this card is from a set called Teeny Tiny Wishes. I love this set, it has 24 different sentiments and they're all small enough to fit in Stampin'UP!'s Word Window Punch.
However . . .
The image on this card was punched with Stampin'UP!'s Jewelry Tag Punch. To make it fit I used a marker so that only the "for you" part of the sentiment got inked. Pretty tricky huh? I just turned that set of 24 stamps into a set of 25! Then I punched the same shape from Real Red and Tempting Turquoise and layered them all together.
Notice that the image on the fabric matches the Bright Blossom stamp image. This is a new fabric that will also be available in the new catalog. I wrapped a 1" wide strip of fabric around the card stock and taped it to the back. Then I tied it in the middle with some of Stampin'UP!'s Linen Thread and punched a hole in the little sentiment tag to tie it onto the card.
