How do you spell celebrate? At Stampin'UP! we spell it Sale-a-brate! Sale-a-bration is Stampin'UP!'s big once-a-year customer appreciation event. For every $50 of catalog merchandise you purchase during Sale-a-bration you can choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration catalog.
This card uses one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items: a stamp set called Outlined Occasions. I love coloring in the letters to match the papers on the project. The colors used here are: Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade and Elegant Eggplant.
To make this card I cut a piece of paper 3" by 5-1/4". Using this as a base I glued on alternating strips of the colored paper. I wrapped the White Satin ribbon around this piece before adhering to the card base. Then I stamped the sentiment and colored it with markers. I also used some Dazzling Details along the dotted line in the sentiment. BTW: Dazzling Details is quickly becoming a favorite product. This glitter glue in a squeeze bottle is so easy to use and it really dresses up a project.
