Ice Cream Shoppe

I've seen this card posted on many different web sites. But when I got it as a trade from my upline, Suzanne Askey, then I saw how easy it was to make.  What a WOW card to send. Again, I'm catching up on posts so some of you will see this and smile because you made it with me, we did this at the April Stamp-a-Stack.

The awning is done using the Scallop Edge Punch and the Word Window Punch. You punch the edge of a pink piece of card stock. Then punch out 5 white pieces with the word window punch, trim off the curve from the top end and glue them to the pink piece.  Very simple! Then score that whole thing along each edge to make it stand out from the card. You use the Scallop Edge punch for the bottom pink piece too and score it to make the window "shelf" that the bakery items seem to be sitting on.  The stamp is from a Level 1 Hostess Set called Birthday Bakery. We colored the bakery items with markers and added a little White Satin Ribbon as a finishing touch.

Just as an FYI, when you place an order online if your order meets the minimums you do qualify for Hostess Benefits so you'd get this cute stamp set.  Now I'm checking my shelves to see what other stamp sets I have that would make cute shoppe displays.
