Holiday Card Idea #6

This is a card we did at last year's December Stamp-a-Stack. This cardinal gives me such a warm feeling, he makes me remember my grandmother's kitchen. She had a bird feeder right outside the window by the kitchen table. It was in her kitchen that I learned how to identify birds. I am an empty nester now but no grand kids yet.  I hope when they do arrive that they'll have the same opportunity with me to learn and appreciate the beauty of birds.

This is a beautiful card if you are making a few for some special people.  It you are mass producing a lot of cards and want to make this one be sure to leave enough time for all the coloring.  He's so pretty, I can hear him singing while I type.

The Stamp Set is called: A Cardinal Christmas and is found on page 39 of the catalog. This is last year's card so this ribbon has retired.  This year I'd make it with the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.  Isn't that sentiment beautiful?  Its from Many Merry Messages, which is  a great all-purpose Christmas sentiment set.
