Holiday Card Idea #1

Do you like to send hand made Christmas card but always feel rushed trying to come up with ideas for something thats elegant and yet easy to mass produce?  For the next 12 days I will be posting ideas for easy Christmas cards.  Some of them will require a particular stamp set, but you'll find that many of them can be adapted to stamps that you already own.  Enjoy, and as always, shoot me an email if you have any questions or need more ideas.

On the First Day of Christmas
Katie gave to me
An idea for a card as easy as 1-2-3
(sorry, I know its a bit cheesy...)

This card, with its deep colors is really goregous.  I used Rich Razzleberry, Garden Green and Brushed Gold papers. The charming ornament stamp is from a cute little set called Tree Trimings (page 44 in the catalog).  It is an older set and only available in wood mount so if you decide to make this card you will need a Stamp-a-ma-Jig to line up the "string" with the top of the ornament.  The sentiment is from a very versatile set called All Holidays and the lovely swirls on the bottom are from Baroque Motifs. And FYI: Baroque Motifs is a great, all purpose set to have.  I use those swirls on a lot of different cards.

Paper:
Garden Green
Rich Razzleberry
Brushed Gold
Stamp Sets:
Tree Trimmings
All Holidays
Baroque Motifs
Supplies:
Gold Embossing Powder
Versamark(for the swirls too)
